Fix

FIX - one of the most engaging race-against-time films of recent memory - opened theatrically in NYC's Village East Cinema on November 20th to strong numbers. Director Tao Ruspoli - called "a bold new style and talent" by Oliver Stone - has crafted a fresh docu-style feature film that follows the 15-hour journey made by Milo and his reluctantly-involved girlfriend Bella as they pick up Milo's brother Leo from jail and attempt to deliver him safely to rehab before a court-ordered deadline sends him back behind bars for years. FIX is manically paced, as Leo has countless tasks large and small to take care of before he can check in to rehab - including visits to practically all parts of L.A., meeting virtually every type of L.A. denizen along the way. FIX stars Shawn Andrews (Dazed & Confused) and Olivia Wilde ("House", Year One). Be sure to keep an eye out for writer/director Tao Ruspoli's first narrative project as it hits select theatres, add the upcoming DVD to your Netflix cue, and look for it in Spring 2010 at a video store near you.

Chris Holme

Chris began his furniture business with a self-taught skill set but quickly realize he'd need some professional training to produce the quality pieces he wanted. Chris enrolled in the prestigious art school Anderson Ranch to refine his techniques. There, he learned to work with hand tools like the cabinetmakers of old. He also taught himself to work with metal, enabling him to fabricate custom hardware and accent pieces for the furniture he makes. Upon receiving one of his pieces, clients are often surprised find that Chris has added a secret compartment or engineered hidden magnetic locking systems to open a concealed drawer or cabinet. He says that he uses every bit of space a piece has to offer. The result is furniture that is more than meets the eye. Check him out on the web: http://www.chrisholme.com

AcZone

An exceptional mix of originally produced glam rock, dazzling motion graphics and first-class choreography is premiering at www.aczonethemusical.com . Starring Twilight's & Twilight New Moon's Michael Welch, the online musical was created for teens by Allergan, Inc., makers of Aczone® (dapsone) Gel 5%, the first new chemical entity for acne treatment to come along in a decade. ACZONE: THE MUSICAL takes you back to high school with its classic archetypes. Its three interrelated stories unfold as the Queen Bee and her minions make over the new girl. This leads to unexpected consequences involving the school jock and the sympathetic nerd. When the spunky cheerleader pulls a Cyrano by having the shy bookworm secretly write love letters to the school's bad boy and the sympathetic nerd builds a "Lovebot" robot so he can woo the girl of his dreams - song, dance and confusion reign. Geared for a savvy online audience, ACZONE: THE MUSICAL is witty, original and brings a theatrical approach to the computer screen. It can be viewed at a fully interactive website, complete with a ‘Backstage Area' boasting free music down-loads, games and a look behind the scenes of the production.
